Gage's Game

      It is that time of year when we are back to school and kicking off class. This is the start of my Junior year and I could not be more excited to be back. Getting to reunite with friends and start playing football again is a feeling like no other. The start of the fall semester to me is always the best time of the year. The weather is beautiful and we get to be back on campus. Over the past two years, I have been fortunate enough to have made great memories and friends. Also looking back I have seen how fast time has gone while being here. As I start my Junior year here I look to cherish every moment I have and look to take advantage of my opportunities. I hope everyone plans to enjoy the fall semester and have a great school year!

      I have been fortunate enough to watch the rapid growth of social media. Social media continues to rapidly change and grow every day. It is hard to look back on my childhood and not remember a time without social media. As a kid, I remember how big Facebook was for my parents and my grandparents. They were able to not only reconnect and stay connected with friends but Facebook had different games that you were able to play and compete against friends. Over the years we have been able to see the growth of platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter now known as X, and Tik Tok which have been very popular over the last few years. The book puts this growth of social media into perspective by showing how many people it has reached compared to other things.
