Final Week

Saturday’s 56–14 win over Otterbein was one of those games that reminded us exactly who we are when we settle in and play our brand of football, even if it took us a little while to get rolling. We came out a bit slow, not fully clicking the way we knew we could. At halftime, we were only up by 14, and even though we were in control, it didn’t feel like we had truly taken over yet. In the locker room, the message was simple: finish strong, execute, and play the way we’ve trained to play since August. The second half felt completely different. Everything started to flow: offense, defense, special teams. We exploded out of the gate and never looked back, putting up points and shutting Otterbein down across the board. By the time the fourth quarter hit, we were playing with confidence, energy, and the type of rhythm that has defined some of our best moments this season. Walking off that field with a 56–14 win felt like the type of complete performance we knew we were capable of. But after...

Week 11

Saturday was a huge day for our team and our program. Hosting #22 Baldwin Wallace at home, we knew exactly what was at stake. A win would keep our playoff hopes alive and show that we are one of the top teams in the conference. From the moment we took the field, the energy was different. We started the game with the ball and came out strong, driving down the field and scoring on our opening possession. That early touchdown set the tone, but Baldwin Wallace responded immediately with a kickoff return touchdown that swung the momentum right back their way. From there, it turned into a battle. Both teams traded punches through the first half, and Baldwin Wallace took a 21-17 lead into halftime. Coming out of the break, they struck first again, extending their lead to 11. It was a tough spot, but we had been there before. Just a week earlier, we had come back from the same situation, and we knew if we stayed together and kept playing our game, we could do it again. Our offense answered wit...

Week 10

Saturday’s game against Mount St. Joseph was one to remember. From the opening kickoff, the energy was electric. We started the game with a huge kick return touchdown that immediately set the tone and gave us momentum. That kind of play can change everything, and it definitely fired up the entire sideline. After that fast start, both teams settled in. We were able to get a few stops defensively, but our offense couldn’t quite find its rhythm early on. Then in the second quarter, things really opened up. Both offenses started to click, and it quickly turned into a high-scoring battle. Mount St. Joseph was able to put together some strong drives before halftime and went into the break leading 20-14. At halftime, there was no panic in our locker room, just belief. We knew if we stuck to our game plan and played with confidence, we could come back and finish strong. But early in the second half, Mount St. Joseph struck again and added a two-point conversion to take a 14-point lead. At that...
